I am a registered Pharmacist in Botswana with a BSc in Pharmacy and about to graduate with an MSc in Drug Regulatory Affairs. I also have a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Writing. I have worked for the Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority for the past 5 years, 4 of them as a GMP and GDP inspector as well as facilitating the import export of Controlled Substances (Narcotics, Psychotropics and Precursor chemicals) into the country. I am currently working as a Research Officer under Clinical Trials and Research. In this role I am responsible for the assessment of clinical trial applications in Botswana and I conduct GCP inspections. I also serve as a QMS focal person for my department.
