Elizabeth Scanlan has worked as a Scientific Communication Officer in the Stakeholders and Communication Division of EMA since 2016, with a particular focus on communication to patients and healthcare professionals, and on electronic Product Information for EU medicines. She has previously worked in the biotechnology industry and not-for-profit sector. She holds a PhD in bacterial genetics from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and an MSc in molecular genetics from the University of Leicester, UK.
