Neelu Gibson

Neelu Gibson joined BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) four years ago as the WW Vice President, Regulatory Affairs for the Medication Management Solutions Business Unit. She has since transitioned to the Medication Delivery Solutions, a $4+ billion US dollar business, as the WW Vice President, RA, leading a team of 50+ associates.

Prior to joining BD in February 2020, Neelu spent 22+ years with the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies (J&J), where she held positions of increasing responsibility in Regulatory Affairs at Advanced Sterilization Products, Biosense Webster, Ethicon Inc., Mentor Worldwide, Sedasys, Sterilmed and J&J Surgical Vision. Key experiences include leadership/mentoring, regulatory strategy development, multiple 510(k) clearances, and the PMA approval for the SEDASYS® System, the first computer-assisted personalized sedation system.

Neelu served as the RA representative for Inclusion and Diversity at BD and was an elected board member of the Orange County Regulatory Affairs Professionals Group prior to relocating for BD. Neelu holds a BSc. Environmental Science and maintained her Regulatory Affairs Certification, issued by the Regulatory Affairs Professionals’ Society (RAC-US) for many years.

Neelu is passionate about growing the Regulatory Affairs profession and continues to share her leadership journey and learnings by volunteering her time and mentoring regulatory professionals. She has co-authored four Amazon best-selling non-fiction books and multiple LinkedIn articles, related to Leadership.
Neelu lives in New Jersey with her husband, Robert and is often found in transit, at the Newark/Orange County airports.
