Ryan Brown is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in the clinical development
industry. She is currently serving as the Regional Vice President Sales- Trial Landscape at H1, a
cutting-edge health tech company that leverages the latest advancements in AI, clinical trial
performance, and SDoH to improve the effectiveness and diversity of clinical trials.
Ryan's experience spans across the clinical development spectrum, including Health Care
Technology- Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCT), Contract Research Organizations (CRO) and more.
During her tenure at CROs like PRA Health Sciences (ICON Plc), PPD (ThermoFisher Scientific),
and Worldwide Clinical Trials, Ryan actively engaged in clinical operations, cross-functional global
business development, and commercial leadership, managing a sales team driving $1.5B in RFP
volume and personally supporting over $350M+ in net new business.
In addition to her work in the industry, Ryan is a sought-after speaker and thought leader,
participating in events such as PhRMA's Health Equity Symposium, the Congressional Black Caucus- Policy for the People, DIA- Annual
Meeting, Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) Diversity Site Solutions Summit, PharmaVoice
Women of the Week, Yale’s Annual Healthcare Conference, and Women in Bio. She has served on
several clinical industry task forces, including the Advisory Board for the Yale Collaboration for
Regulatory Rigor, Integrity, and Transparency (CRRIT) and Association of Clinical Research
Organizations (ACRO)
Ryan earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Kentucky State University and a Master’s in
Public Administration at the University of Kentucky. She earned Certificates in Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell University and Strategies
to Enable Faster Recruitment of Marginalized Communities from Vanderbilt University. When she's
not working, Ryan loves spending time with her family, which includes her husband Kalik, their
daughter Brooklyn, and two pups, Rey & Molly. She also serves as a volunteer with the Junior League of Raleigh.
