Olga van Grol-Lawlor is the Sr. Global Regulatory Intelligence & Advocacy Manager at Boston Scientific. Her regulatory and advocacy expertise include over a decade of regional support for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), prior to taking on a full-time global advocacy role in 2022. Olga is involved in several external advocacy groups including Advamed, Irish MedTech, and is a member of the Regulatory Committee at the Global Medical Technology Alliance (GMTA). In addition, Olga participates in multiple working groups at MedTech Europe. She is the vice-chair of the Group for International Regulatory Activities (GIRA) and a member of the European Commission’s Medical Device Coordination Group (MDCG) on International Matters. Olga is passionate about contributing to the growth, evolution, convergence, and harmonization of global regulatory frameworks. Her career is now focused on helping to shape policies that facilitate innovation while ensuring patient safety and access to medical technologies.
